May Two-Four Part II

Well, the pork was a success.



Maybe not quite up to the standard of The Pigman in the Outer Banks, but quite passable for a first attempt. I know it looks like it's been cremated, but it's supposed to look like that. Juicy and tender inside. That's my story and 'm sticking to it.

Some of you may be wondering why there's a German beer in the photo on such a Canadian/Commonwealth holiday. Well, my friends, I could have gone with Canadian or Moosehead, or even something British like Newcastle Brown, but let me just remind you that Queen Victoria, whose birthday we are ostensibly celebrating, was born and raised German.
So there.

And, since it is Ol' Vicky's birthday, I think a little Kipling is in order.

I started up the old motorcycle today and while I was watching fluids leak from every seal, I started noticing all the cool typography scattered throughout my garage.
So, in the interests of preserving our typographic heritage, I created this Flickr Set.
