The man sure knows his way around a paintbrush!
His style is kind of graphic and stylized, but the over-all effect is almost photo-realism.
It reminds me a bit of the painting you see in ads from the 50's and 60's.
He says that this particular image went through "six versions and many, many changes," but ultimately the whole campaign was cancelled. That's gotta hurt.
